Todd Schecter

11U Asst Coach

Coach Todd Schecter was born and raised in Holliston, MA where he graduated from Holliston High School in 1993 where he played 4 years as a center. He spent the next two years playing basketball for Thomas College in Waterville, ME (Division III) then transferred to UMASS Lowell where we graduated in 1998 with a BSBA with a dual concentration in Management and Marketing.

In 2002 Coach Schecter began his coaching career at the Lowell YMCA coaching boys and girls from ages 4-9. In 2006 he was named the St. Louis Jr. High boy’s varsity coach.  In three short season, Coach Schecter took the team from a non winning season to playoff contenders.  Beginning in 2010 Coach Schecter will be joining NELP Coach Frank Melendez as an Asst coach for the 6th grade Lowell Girls travel team which had a 5th grade travel season record of 16-0 season.

For the past 10 years he has worked full time as a Sr. Technical Recruiter for Adecco Engineering & Technical in North Chelmsford, MA placing IT & Engineering Consultants within the New England area.   Coach Schecter looks forward to the opportunity to coach the 10u Lady Panthers team this fall and will bring a passion for the game, an in-depth knowledge, and a desire to educate and teach our future all-stars.  Coach Schecter is married with three children.
